OUR CHARTER ORGANIZATION
Pack 136 (Cubs), Troop 136 (BSA Scouts-Boys), Troop 1136 (BSA Scouts – Girls) and Crew 136 (Venturers) are all sponsored by St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA
OUR COUNCIL
Our units belong to the Central District of Istrouma Council in Southeast Louisiana, which encompasses West and East Baton Rouge Parishes.

SCOUT RANK RESOURCES
Click on the rank image below to view the rank requirements, digital copies of the handbooks, and YouTube videos designed to help a Scout pursue these requirements on their own if needed.
Each Scout is required to have the handbook for his or her rank. This handbook explains many important facts, your Scout’s rank advancement, and serves as a written record of Scout activities and achievements. The links and videos are meant to be viewed by both the parent and child working together on the activities. All ranks are also required to complete the Youth Protection Program and Protect Yourself Program for their age/rank/grade. Click below for each rank.

| PROTECT YOURSELF This program replaces the CyberChip Program Scouts were previously required to complete in order to make rank. The CyberChip is now an optional Award instead of a requirement, and is highly recommended that Scouts still go over the CyberChip program with their parents to learn about staying safe online. However, currently, the Protect Yourself Curriculum is now the requirement. Scouts must watch age-appropriate videos for each rank and complete the tasks in the PDF under each video for their rank in order to get credit. Rank requirements are not complete until Protect Yourself is also done. It is recommended that this be done in the months of September and October. PROTECT YOURSELF CURRICULUM AT THIS LINK |
